Backtrack frame

Backtracking is to repeat or summarize someone's words. You use the keywords that others have used and the corresponding tonality. By using backtracking you can build up your rapport with your partner.

Listen carefully to what the other says and pay particular attention to certain keywords. These are words that stand out because the speaker uses them regularly or because the speaker himself indicates that he considers these important items. Pay attention to the tone with which these words are spoken. Then give a brief summary of what the other person has said and weave in the keywords. Speak these out with the same intonation and pronunciation as the interlocutor.

Note: Use the exact same words and fill nothing in yourself.
