Judith DeLozier

Judith DeLozier is an American trainer and writer in the methodology Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). She studied at the University of California Santa Cruz, where she earned a bachelor's in anthropology and a bachelor's and master's degree in theology. Furthermore, she had a special interest in the work of Gregory Bateson.

judith delozier As a student of John Grinder and Richard Bandler, she worked in a group of students intensively on the development of models and processes in NLP. She spent 14 years with Grinder and published with him Turtles All The Way Down.

She was co-author of the book Neuro Linguistic Programming Part I in 1980, with Robert Dilts, John Grinder and Richard Bandler and worked out the important part of the NLP theory about reframing.

After Grinder and DeLozier’s collaboration had ended, DeLozier became co-owner of the NLP University in Santa Cruz (California), and together with Robert Dilts published the book The Encyclopedia of Systemic Neuro-linguistic Programming and NLP New Coding in 2000.

Together with Dilts she also wrote Leaves Before the Wind in 1989, Map and Territory in august 1997. She worked on the development of a number of projects in the field of NLP System, which extended across areas such as health and multicultural competencies and modeling leadership.
